Singapore Changi Airport 

호텔신라는 10일 싱가포르 창이국제공항에서 화장품·향수 면세점 '그랜드 오픈 기념식'을 개최했다. 

[JONY THAI ⓒ 2015  ] -  Duty-free shoppers at Changi Airport now have a wide array of cosmetics and perfumes to choose from.

이날 열린 기념식에는 리서우향(Lee Seow Hiang) 창이국제공항 CEO와 이부진 호텔신라 사장, 신라면세점 

모델 동방신기, 중국 여배우 안젤라베이비 등 관계자 100여명이 참석했다.

Across the three terminals, there are 182 brands - about 80 of which are available at the airport for the first time and 26 which cannot be found anywhere else in Singapore.

They include Aromatica, Ghost Perfume and Jean Louis Scherrer Perfume, 

said South Korean firm Shilla Duty Free.

기념식 행사는 리본 커팅, B-boy 공연, 광고모델과 함께 하는 경품 이벤트 등의 순서로 진행됐다. 

신라면세점은 이번 기념식을 시작으로 창이국제공항 3개 터미널(1~3터미널)의 모든 화장품·향수 매장(19개 매장, 5575㎡, 182개 브랜드)에서 본격적인 운영을 시작하게 됐다.

신라면세점은 국내 화장품 브랜드와 동반 진출해 창이국제공항 면세점을 한국 화장품과 한류 문화 확산의 전진기지 역할을 수행하도록 할 계획이다.

To celebrate the grand opening of its new stores on Tuesday, Shilla which moved into Changi more than four months ago, is also offering special discounts and free gifts.

또 국내 중소·중견기업 화장품 브랜드가 창이국제공항에 진출할 수 있도록 적극 지원할 예정이다. 

The airport retailer which has stores in South Korea, Macau and now Singapore had ousted incumbent Nuance Watson in a hotly contested fight to run the airport's 19 perfume and cosmetic stores.

Shoppers have more to look forward to, said Shilla. By June, a new double-storey outlet at T3 will offer facials and beauty consultation services as well as accommodate an in-house cafe.

The firm's ambassadors, South Korean pop stars TVXQ and Chinese actress and model, Angelababy were at the airport to celebrate the grand launch, creating quite a stir among fans who had turned up to catch a rare glimpse of the stars

신라면세점의 창이국제공항 화장품·향수 매장은 국내 기업이 해외에서 운영하고 있는 면세사업권 중에서 가장 큰 규모다. 

Changi Airport Group's senior vice-president (Airside Concessions) Ivy Wong, said that with Shilla, Changi has strengthened its retail value proposition for both Singaporean shoppers as well as international travellers.

"The suite of newly revamped beauty stores by The Shilla Duty Free positions Changi as the best location in Singapore and the region to shop for beauty products," she said.

Mr Jason Cha, a senior executive vice-president at Shilla Duty Free said: "As an international hub for travellers, Singapore is the perfect location to create a beauty epicentre for the region, and we are confident that our expansive offering will be warmly welcomed ... 

신라면세점은 지난해 10월 창이국제공항 면세점 운영권을 넘겨받은 이후 전매장에 대해 순차적으로 리모델링을 진행했다. 

계약기간은 2020년 9월 30일까지다.
