40대 한국인 여성, 필리핀서 강도에 피살…올해만 4명째.. 

Korean woman was shot dead by a robber inside a coffee shop in Barangay Holy 

Spirit, Quezon City on Monday.

Chief Inspector Rodel Marcelo, chief of Quezon City Police District – Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, said the victim, identified as Mik Kyung Park entered the coffee shop unaware that a robber was already inside the establishment.

필리핀 마닐라에서 40대 한국인 여성이 강도의 총격으로 사망했다.

주 필리핀 한국대사관은 9일 낮 1시30분(현지시간) 한국인 박모(45·여)씨가 마닐라 케손시티의 한 커피숍에서 강도가 쏜 총에 맞아 그 자리에서 사망했다고 밝혔다. 

이에 따라 올들어 필리핀에서 살해된 한국인은 모두 4명으로 늘어났다.

Police said the robber, after taking an still undetermined amount of cash, ordered the two cashiers and a customer of the coffee shop to take their clothes off. They were then tied up inside the comfort room.

The robber also forced the Korean to go inside the comfort room, but the latter resisted, causing the gunmen to shoot her.

박씨는 이날 커피숍에 강도가 든 사실을 모르고 아이와 함께 가게에 들어갔다가 총격을 받은 것으로 파악됐다. 

현지 경찰은 범인이 박씨의 휴대전화를 빼앗는 과정에서 권총을 발사한 것으로 드러났다고 밝혔다. 

Employees of a nearby establishment said they did not hear any commotion from the coffee shop, except for a single gunshot.

Police said there have been six incidents of robbery in the city where the robbers would ask their victims to undress.

경찰은 커피숍 종업원의 진술을 토대로 몽타주를 작성, 도주한 범인 검거에 나섰다.

앞서 지난달 초에는 루손섬 북부에서 한국인 사업가 1명이 총격을 받아 사망했으며 같은 달 말에는 필리핀 중부 바클로드 지역에 어학연수를 왔던 한국 대학생 1명이 

현지 무장 괴한의 총격을 받아 중상을 입었다.

이밖에 마닐라와 남부 민다나오에서 각각 한국인 납치사건이 발생하는 등 한국인 

관련 강력사건이 잇따르고 있다. 

필리핀에서는 지난해에도 한국인 10명이 살해된 바 있다. 

한국인은 평상 시 현금을 많이 가지고 다니는 것으로 알려지면서 전세계 중국인을 제치고 필리핀에서 최대 표적이 되고 있다고 한다.  

여행을 떠나시는 분들에게 각별한 주위가 요망되는 부분이다. 

오늘 아침 필리핀 마닐라로 출장을 떠난 제프리가 내심 걱정이 되는 부분이다. 

혹시나 한국인으로 의심을 사는 행동을 하지 않았으면 하는 간절한 소원이다.
